In this new age, couture is our pijamas and yes, we are gonna see ready-to-wear on the red carpet really soon.
In our first day of Istanbul Fashion Week, we were fashionably and unbelievably late! We missed the first show but took our seats for the second show of the day, Safak Tokur. It was his first solo show in fashion week which separated into 3 different concepts. I’m not sure if i understood the idea of liberation through the blue color and digital world that I am a part of. Besides, I think Im not a huge fan of digital world. I just love what he has done in the second part, instrumental fashion. Leather sandals, long capes were so traditional in addition to its self-minded presentation.
As you can see on the cover, Dilek Hanif showed her talent, ingenutiy and tailoring skills very well on the runway! I loved her dreamland but especially those shoes are my favorites! As you might know, she is great in couture but its a ready-to-wear collection!
I think we started to wear couture day time and ready-to-wear night time! World is changing, ha?
At Atıl Kutoglu Show, I love stripes and pop colors combined with white. Sparkles on the other hand, were little bir overloaded with tulle details. Still, when I think about his former collections, this one was much better until Jessica Stam, oh my god model!, came up to the stage! She was an erosion of attention and I might not remember the rest!
